UG06 Summer Show

2025

The design and construction of the UG06 unit space for the 2025 Bartlett Summer Show - organising the budget, material delivery, cabinet and display case design. Drawing from our field trip to Belgium the exhibition space was inspired by the common use of raw materials in contemporary Flemish architecture. As a 5 person team we considered the design’s disassembly whilst designing its assembly. The show’s material will be reused next year, and hence the materiality and its connections are easily disassembled, extending their use and lifespan.

The design and assembly of the exhibition took place within 4 weeks and required rapid design iterations.

The main model cabinets use ratchet straps to secure the plywood elements together with no need for glue. Following the show all of the elements were easily disassembled and stored for the following year.
