Monster Boots

I was independently contacted to fabricate stilts for a production of ‘A Monster Calls’ at the Bloomsbury Theatre in January 2025. The stilts were constructed cheaply using materials in the university workshop, to a prescribed budget. Changes were made to the design following conversations with workshop technicians and the client. The design of the stilts was modified to facilitate easier movement for the actor wearing them, with padding, rotating pieces and rubber grips placed on the boots making their use more comfortable.
