Camera Obscura - Box

Commisioned by UCL professor Philip Steadman - a box camera obscura. Light is passed through a mirror and lens down into the dark box. The box is designed to be light-tight without being too heavy to lift. Aluminium sheets, brackets and lasercut ply make up the body of the box. Wheels attached to the side can be used to move the box on flat surfaces.
The rotating 3d printed camera head contains a small mirror and lens can be rotated and angled, changing the direction of the image.
