An ashtray with candle holder. The clay is pressed in a mould between two 3D-printed reliefs. Using a drill to tighten bolts squeezes the wet clay into the desired forms. Following this it was fired, glazed and fired once more to form a waterproof top. Inspired by Isamu Noguchi’s landscape models the objects intend to be vague and sculptural in their own right whilst serving a function interpreted from their geometry.
